Red Bull Stratos Demonstrates a ‘Follow Your Heart’ Code in Baumgartner’s space

Baumgartner on Red Bull Stratos platformWoohoo for Red Bull and Baumgartner

in their successful

Mission to the Edge of Space.
It was an utterly fantastic record breaking freefall from the edge of space and absolutely great to watch it all happen. It was carried live on Red Bull Stratos dot com http://www.redbullstratos.com/live/ and on YouTube => https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=MrIxH6DToXQ#!

First comment I must make - Baumgartner is NOT a Wussy; that’s for sure. When he got suited up and ballooned to around 128,000 feet or more, that takes some damn big cajones without a doubt. The first time jumping out of a plane is a little more than scary. I remember my virgin plunge – OMG.

Baumgartner’s been doing this sky jumping for quite some time.

From a Wikipedia page - Felix Baumgartner (born 20 April 1969) is an Austrian skydiver and a BASE jumper. He is renowned for the particularly dangerous nature of the stunts he has performed during his career. Baumgartner spent time in the Austrian military where he practiced parachute jumping, including training to land on small target zones. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Felix_Baumgartner

That’s the point I’m trying to make with this blog post. You begin with a dream that comes from your innermost sanctums and you let it simmer and develop in a soulful place that seems close to your heart. Then, follow that sucker as it takes you through all the twists and turns that life has to offer.

You’ve had to endure hardships, haven’t you?

I know I have. There have almost been too many to count. I’ve encountered obstacles and had to take detours on many different occasions.

What I thought were damned frustrations to get upset about were actually just events that would make the whole adventure worthwhile.

Somehow, yes somehow, I got passed all those hurdles and kept going until I reached my goal and achieved my dream. Of course, after you get one of your dreams, you just go after the next one.

I know it wasn’t all easy for him. I saw where they had started on this project since 2009. There have been many setbacks and I’m positive that a lot of errors were made. In every day, we all have to find solutions to the screw ups that Life drops in our paths.

I ask you, “Isn’t it a great adventure?”

Baumgartner achieved his goals and dreams by adhering to the law of being a

Follow Your Heart Badass.

He committed and “got all in” by putting his life on the line. But don’t overlook all the support that he had. Think about all the time effort and money the scientists, trainers and those space Stratos people maintained and financed by Red Bull.

I think I’m going to the nearest convenience store and buy me one just to help support their business. I was really impressed.

Just a sec – I’ll be right back.

Out for a Red Bull!

What did you think about while I was gone?

For me, I thought it was time to raise a toast to all who helped make this all possible. Yes, Baumgartner was the hero, but every tom, dick and harry who worked on the ‘freefall from space’ should be applauded.

Cheers to all.

I lift a toast to all those who apply the

Follow Your Heart Badass code.
